Taking on Term Two... But First

Congratulations, you have survived your first term as a 7th grader! Let's talk about it! In your next blog post I would you to reflect upon this past term. (8 or more sentences)
Some questions to think about/answer in your post might be:

Did you enjoy the term overall? What did or didn't you like about it? Why?(Be appropriate. Utilize constructive criticism!)

What is/was your favorite part about 7th grade so far? A particular class? Meeting new friends? The Day of Service? A certain lesson in one of your classes? A project?

Do you feel older or more mature? How have you changed?

What are you looking forward to as the year progresses? New specialist class? The Christmas Carol field trip? Other field trips? The winter season?

Post your responses on your Kidblog.
Be sure to include at least one photo that reflects a certain aspect of your post! Proofread!

Feel free to comment on your classmates' posts as well!

  1. I 100% agree with this quotation. First, at the end of the quote it says,” We all have the power to fill others with joy or ruin their joy.” I think this is fully and completely true. If you’re in a bad mood you can act angry and rude and disrespectful, and that will rub off on other people, therefore putting them in a bad mood. Even if you are in a bad mood and you feel upset, but you put on a brave face and don’t let it stop you can make you happier. By being happy that cheerful nature will rub off on your classmates and even some of your teachers. By being polite and respectful to ALL other people can make you feel like a good person. Say you are at the grocery store, or at a resteraunt and you thank the cashier for packing up your groceries, or at the resteraunt and tip the waitor or waitress a little extra can really make them happy or just thanking them for whatever they do fro you. How you act affects others tremendously.

  2. I kind of agree with this quote. We can have the power to ruin someones day or they could ruin our day and we could ruin someones.Which could just turn into one big train of sad children, which would not be good.So either way if you had a ruff night or a loss of a family member you just got to hold it all in and stay control. You have to keep control of your mood so you do not ruin or make your day worse or someone else.Cause maybe even the person you talk to is keeping their control and you ruin their day. They would probably get mean and rude just like you.So what I am trying to say is if your having a crummy day, or someone is mean to you, you just have to keep under control and then let it out later. If you are having a bad you might even go to the school counselor for help.
